Terms of Use

The rules for using this website, engine.arthonier.com, the home of Engine's documentation.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms apply to this website, engine.arthonier.com (the "Website"), which Arthonier runs as the documentation hub for Engine. By using the Website you accept these terms. Engine itself, including the Engine Studio plugin and this documentation, is covered by the Engine License.

1. Who we are

The Website is run by Arthonier (arthonier.com). You can reach us through arthonier.com/contact.

2. What the Website is for

The Website explains what Engine is, how to install it and how to use it. It contains the documentation, installation instructions and the legal pages for Engine, and a report form for problems with Engine, the plugin and the Website.

The Website does not offer Engine, or any other file, for download. Engine is installed only through the Engine plugin in Roblox Studio, which you get from the Roblox Creator Store, and automatic updates are delivered through Roblox. If you find Engine offered for download anywhere else, it is not from Arthonier; please let us know.

3. The documentation

The documentation is part of Engine and belongs to Arthonier.

  • You may read it, link to it and quote short parts of it, with a link back to the page.
  • You may use the code examples in Your Experiences, under the Engine License, just like Engine itself.
  • You may not copy or republish the documentation, or large parts of it, elsewhere, or present it as your own work.

We work hard to keep the documentation accurate, but it can contain mistakes or describe a different version of Engine than the one you run. Always test your experience.

4. Using the Website

When you use the Website, you may not:

  • try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Website or the systems behind it;
  • use automated tools in a way that puts a heavy load on the Website;
  • use the Website for anything that is against the law;
  • use the report form for anything other than reporting problems, or send reports that are false, abusive or spam.

The Website links to other websites, such as Roblox, the Roblox Creator Store, GitHub and Arthonier's social media. We do not control those websites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.

6. Names and logos

Engine, the Engine logo, Arthonier and the Arthonier logo belong to Arthonier. How you may use the Engine logo is described in section 7 of the Engine License.

Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation. Arthonier and Engine are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation.

7. No warranty and limitation of liability

The Website is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it is always available, free of errors or up to date. As far as the law allows, Arthonier is not liable for any loss or damage caused by using the Website or by relying on its content.

8. Changes

We may change the Website and these terms at any time. The current terms are always on this page, with the date they were last updated. If you keep using the Website after a change, you accept the new terms.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law gives you the right to go to court elsewhere.

10. Contact
